Clavering Playgroup
Clavering and Arkesden Playgroup is a non-profit making organisation which was started in 1963 to meet the needs of pre-school children in this area.  We aim to offer opportunities for children from two-and-a-half to five years under the supervision of trained, caring and experienced staff.  Children learn through their play in the happy, safe environment of Playgroup. We hope that your child will enjoy our happy, secure group and grow in confidence and skill. We are registered to provide grant-funded education (ie free places) for all children from the term before their fourth birthday.  This is because we have been assessed by Ofsted as meeting the government's standards for pre-school education.  In particular our curriculum and teaching help your child achieve the government's six Early Learning Goals for pre-school education.  

When and where we meet
The Playgroup meets in Clavering Village Hall on:
  Monday         9:15 - 15:30  
  Wednesday     9:15 - 13:15
  Thursday        9:15 - 15:00
  Friday            9:15 - 12:00

The year is divided into three terms and follows closely the school terms.

Fees
The current fee is £5.75 per session (extra for the lunch session) and fees are generally payable each term in advance, although arrangements can be made to pay in three instalments.
