Clavering Preschool
Clavering and Arkesden Pre-school is a non-profit making organisation which was started in 1963 to meet the needs of pre-school children in this area.  We aim to offer opportunities for children from two-and-a-half to five years under the supervision of trained, caring and experienced staff.  Children learn through their play in the happy, safe environment of Playgroup. We hope that your child will enjoy our happy, secure group and grow in confidence and skill. We are registered to provide grant-funded education (ie free places) for all children from the term before their fourth birthday.  This is because we have been assessed by Ofsted as meeting the government's standards for pre-school education.  In particular our curriculum and teaching help your child achieve the government's six Early Learning Goals for pre-school education.
